About Flipr

Sending money abroad should be simple and fair. But with dozens of remittance providers offering different exchange rates and transfer fees, it's hard to know who actually gives your recipient the most. Flipr solves that by doing the calculation for you — every day, for free.

We currently cover five currencies — Indian Rupee (INR), Pakistani Rupee (PKR), Bangladeshi Taka (BDT), Egyptian Pound (EGP), and Philippine Peso (PHP) — across providers including D360 Bank, STC Bank, Tiqmo, Barq, urpay, Mobily Pay, Alinma Pay, Vision Bank IO, Tahweel Al Rajhi, and Western Union.

Every provider is ranked by a single number: the amount your recipient receives after the exchange rate and transfer fees are applied. We use the formula:

This means a provider with a slightly lower exchange rate but zero fees can rank higher than one with a better rate but a high fee — because your recipient ends up with more money.

Rates and fees are checked daily from each provider's official app or website. Some providers charge conditional fees — for example, a fee that only applies below a certain transfer amount. Where we know about these, we factor them into the calculation automatically.

Rates are checked and entered daily by our team. We record the exchange rate and transfer fee for each provider and currency pair. Historical data is preserved — we never overwrite past entries — so you can see how rates have changed over time.

Rates can change during the day. The figures shown reflect the most recent entry and may not match the live rate at the moment of your transfer.
